Space trips, rollercoaster rides and aerobatic flight simulations are on offer at the Science City’s Thrill Ride simulator which takes 30 passengers at a time on the ride of a lifetime. Other popular simulated journeys include the Time gate to Egypt ride, Star War and A Journey in to a Volcano while the country’s largest dancing musical fountain is also a big crowd pleaser at the venue. Sprawled across 9000m2, illuminated by 935 vibrant lights and powered by 113 water jets this harmony of light, sound and liquid is a visual marvel beyond comparison.
The Energy Park on the other hand examines the power of the sun, wind, water, earth and space in an elemental exploration of the five principle components of Indian philosophy. The IMAX 3D Theatre at GSC is also the first of its nature in all of India with IMAX screens rising up 8 storeys to provide a cinematic experience that is 10 times larger than traditional film screens. With state-of-the-art sound systems and crystalline images the IMAX 3D Theatre showcases films on orbit exploration such as Walking on the Moon and the fantasy thriller Avatar for the visitors’ viewing pleasure.
